You need to create a reference to PowerPoint library. Check lines 10 to 13 in the vba code for details.

I’m somewhat confused about building the excel tables? Do you an example? I need to create 305 powerpoint screens… all the screens look the same just the data changes based upon an application name… does this process loop through a list and create a separate powerpoint for each application name and use that applications data to plug into the powerpoint varibles?

I am sorry that I didn’t post an example on how to ise it in real life. I will keep you posted once I post it.
Anyways it is not a plugin (yet) I use pure excel functions and vba code to automate my presentations.

Great ! Very useful code. Thank you for sharing.

I had some problems to make it work but it is working now except updating graphs.

1-) First i had to remove ” Missing: Microsoft Powerpoint 14.0 Object Library” in the References and add “Microsoft Powerpoint 12.0 Object Library” . I think it’s because of my office version 2007.

    2) “Run-time error ’438′: Object doesn’t support this property or method” for If oShp.Title “” Then

so i had to remove the entire code starting with “If oShp.Type = msoPicture Then”

It works now but doesn’t update graphs.

Thanks for the feedback, may be I have to modify the code to support older versions.
No idea why graphs does not update with office 2007 but will try to find out
